Since its founding in 2018 in Coimbatore,Zepto Logic Technologies Pvt Ltd has been part of a national effort to achieve self reliance in semiconductors. National policies recognise that chips underpin every electronic product and offer support across the entire design lifecycle.

Our mission aligns with this vision: to create indigenous intellectual property—processor cores, memory controllers, interface protocols, analog/mixed signal blocks, security engines, micro controllers, MEMS and DSPs—that addresses real world challenges and enhances technological sovereignty.

As a fabless design house, Zepto Logic provides end to end semiconductor solutions. Our analog and mixed signal specialists deliver high performance circuits optimised for power efficiency and precision. We undertake complete ASIC/SoC design—RTL coding, verification, FPGA prototyping, physical implementation and design for test—supported by gate level simulation, emulation and post silicon validation. Verification is a core strength: we validate designs at IP, subsystem and SoC levels using established methodologies and languages.

We also offer package engineering, test and product engineering, embedded software development and turnkey product realisation. A portfolio of reusable design and verification IP covering common interfaces helps us deliver bespoke cores, controllers and signal processing blocks.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping both semiconductor demand and development. Industry reports note that AI applications in high performance computing, memory and custom silicon are driving a powerful resurgence in chip demand. Businesses are investing in advanced processors and memory to power AI driven workloads, and many downstream companies are exploring in house design to gain greater customisation and control.

Zepto Logic responds by integrating AI throughout our design flow: we use machine learning models to synthesise complex electromagnetic structures and circuits, compressing design cycles from weeks to hours and generating novel architectures that outperform conventional designs.

Our engineers remain integral to guide and validate these AI generated solutions. By combining human expertise with AI, we create optimised processor cores, memory subsystems and interface circuits while shortening time to market. This approach positions us to meet rising demand for neural processing units, high performance GPUs and memory intensive chips.

We also recognise that downstream organisations increasingly value supply chain resilience, customisation and security. The future of computing lies at the intersection of quantum mechanics and nanoscience. Global teams are building integrated stacks of quantum software, algorithms and hardware, demonstrating that combining AI with quantum accelerators can yield dramatic speed ups. Some platforms offer superconducting quantum processors for on premise or cloud deployment; others use energy efficient annealing to solve optimisation problems otherwise intractable; compact quantum processing units allow researchers to experiment; and quantum secure encryption protects digital assets.

Zepto Logic draws on these advances to explore quantum algorithms, quantum aware architectures and hardware rooted security. At the same time, nanoscale engineering pushes classical electronics forward: nanotechnology manipulates matter at 1–100 nm using materials like graphene, carbon nanotubes, quantum dots and nanowires; advanced transistor structures such as FinFETs and gate all around FETs improve control and reduce leakage; and quantum effects become relevant at these scales. Our R&D team investigates novel materials, device structures and quantum inspired architectures to ensure our IP remains compatible with future process nodes and quantum hardware.

We also study quantum sensing—using superposition and entanglement to measure physical quantities with unprecedented precision—and explore how such sensors can be integrated into classical chips for instrumentation, navigation and secure communication.

AI Chip Design

Quantum sensing and metrology are another frontier. Quantum sensors exploit superposition and entanglement to measure physical quantities with unprecedented precision. Techniques using defects in diamond lattices can detect minute magnetic and electric fields, opening possibilities for high resolution imaging, navigation and environmental monitoring. We explore how such sensors and related materials can be integrated with classical SoCs for advanced instrumentation, secure communication and enhanced control

Established frameworks allow industry to engage in technology transfer or readiness level upgrades ( TRL) under guidance from independent validation committees, while co investigator models help mature technologies and bridge the "valley of death".

Zepto Logic uses these mechanisms to absorb cutting edge research, co develop IP and scale solutions. Building a skilled workforce is central to our mission: we offer mentoring and hands on training in semiconductor design, AI and quantum technologies, and support community initiatives that promote science and engineering.

We also recognise the importance of supply chain resilience and sustainability—designing with energy efficiency in mind, partnering with multiple fabrication partners to reduce geographic risk, and advocating for eco friendly manufacturing practices. Through these efforts, Zepto Logic aims to advance national self reliance, foster innovation across the semiconductor value chain and deliver world class products built locally for global markets.

Suresh Kuppuswamy has over 35 years of experience in technology adoption, business consulting, and management consulting.He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and is a proud alumnus of Harvard Business School HBS, having completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP, Batch 206) in Boston, USA.

He has held diverse leadership roles across organizations including Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), IBM, CAMS/SSPL (camsonline.com), Adrenalin eSystems Limited (an HRMS product company), and the Sakthi Group, Coimbatore (a three-generation family-owned conglomerate).

Suresh Kuppuswamy's current focus is on semiconductor chip design. He co-founded Zepto Logic Technologies Private Limited and Caliber Embedded (www.caliberembedded.com) , and strongly believes that semiconductor innovation lies at the unique intersection of AI, Semiconductors, Nanotechnology, and Quantum Computing. He envisions that R&D-driven innovation will define the future by solving complex global challenges.

His expertise in technology adoption spans Information Technology (IT) Consultancy and Services, Digital Transformation Programs (ERP, CRM, Cloud, Analytics, Social, Security, and Data Science), Platform and Product Services, as well as traditional Application Development and Maintenance.

From Chartered Accountant to Start-up Mentor and Semiconductor Entrepreneur. With more than 35 years of diverse experience, Mr. K. Sakthivel has built a unique journey — from being a Chartered Accountant to becoming a passionate promoter of technology start-ups. Armed with a Six Sigma Black Belt from the Indian Statistical Institute, he believes in combining structured thinking with bold entrepreneurship. His story is one of vision, persistence, and mentoring future leaders. In all the below companies he was the Promoter founder.

• In 2000, he founded Caliber Infotech, a pioneering semiconductor start-up that grew into a 150+ employee organization before being successfully acquired by Tessolve in 2010.(https://www.tessolve.com/)
• In 2008, he launched Caliber Embedded Technologies, not only providing solutions in VLSI and Embedded systems but also creating a high-end training academy to prepare engineers for global opportunities.
• In 2019, he created, Zepto Logic Technologies, a new-generation semiconductor start-up working on cutting-edge IP creation in VLSI, fueling India's semiconductor ambitions.
